PLACEBO is a 25-minute immersive audio experience in complete darkness. You're lying on a bunk bed inside a shipping container. Headphones on, lights out. 360-degree sound invites you to take part in a collective experiment - a shared dream on the edge of consciousness. The most surrender-driven of the DARKFIELD shows, and the one that asks you to let go completely.

Imagine the moment of waking is where the dream begins. You lie down, put on headphones, and are guided into a shared reality. As it unfolds, the boundary between waking and dreaming dissolves: thoughts feel tangible, voices feel close.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You'll be assigned a bunk bed inside a shipping container. You'll lie down, put on headphones, and the lights will go out completely. 360-degree sound will guide you through a collective experiment on the edge of consciousness. The experience lasts 25 minutes. You may feel deeply relaxed. Some people feel like they're drifting between sleep and waking. That's part of the design.
Is it right for you?
Strange and surrendering - but no jump scares, and no one touches you. You can take your headphones off at any time.
If you're claustrophobic, or uncomfortable in darkness, it may be more intense.
